Q: Do you always include decluttering?
Yes, every time. Organizing works best once we clear out what you no longer need or use. We’ll sort together, decide what stays and what goes, and then create simple systems that actually work for your real life.
Q: How long does a project take?
It depends on the space and your goals. During your consultation, we’ll review details and photos and provide a realistic time estimate. Our goal is steady, thoughtful progress that keeps things moving without adding stress.
Q: Should I tidy up before you arrive?
Please don’t. Truly. No judging, no shame, and no pretending. We need to see the space as it actually is so we can help you properly.
Q: Do I need to buy organizing products ahead of time?
Nope. We’ll create the plan, bring options, and handle the shopping. Anything unused or unloved gets returned, no awkward bin leftovers.
Q: Do I need to be present during the session?
Yes. A client or designated decision maker must be available for the entire session to answer questions and make real time decisions. Time lost due to unavailability is still billable.
Q: Is there a minimum session or team size?
Yes. Most projects require a minimum of two organizers with a four hour minimum per visit. During your consultation, we’ll determine the best team size for your space to ensure steady progress, efficiency, and a process that doesn’t feel overwhelming.
Q: Do you travel outside of Lexington or central Kentucky?
We primarily serve Lexington and surrounding areas and currently travel up to 90 minutes one way. A travel fee applies for locations more than 30 minutes one way (one hour round trip).
Q: Do you offer cleaning, interior design, or handyman services?
We focus on decluttering and organizing. While we don’t offer cleaning, interior design, or repair services, we’re happy to recommend trusted local professionals when possible.
Q: What happens to the items we declutter?
We handle donations, arrange pickups for large items, and help manage trash or dumpsters if needed. If a donation center provides a receipt, we’ll pass it along.
Q: When and how do I pay?
An invoice is sent within 24 hours of service, and payment is expected within 24 hours of receipt. We accept Venmo, PayPal, cash, and credit or debit cards. Card payments include a 3% convenience fee.
